Overview
The Enlisted Operations Supervisor acts as the primary consultant to the group commander on enlisted personnel and operational affairs.
The supervisor is responsible for providing direction and oversight in the organization, training, and equipping of assigned personnel, including drill-status airmen, Active Guard Reserve members, and dual-status technicians, to effectively support mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise supervisory management duties, offering guidance to team members on organizational policies and procedures.
- Advise on candidate selection for vacancies and development opportunities, ensuring alignment with mission needs and diversity goals.
- Implement and uphold principles of Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) in all personnel management actions.
- Establish and communicate performance standards, providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance job performance.
- Administer leave programs and ensure compliance with security protocols for personnel handling sensitive information.
Advisory Role
The supervisor provides critical insights to the group commander regarding program responsibilities and operational readiness.
They develop and implement procedures to ensure all personnel are adequately trained and equipped to meet operational demands.
Policy and Program Management
In this role, the supervisor will manage and analyze various programs affecting enlisted personnel, focusing on readiness, morale, and performance.
They will also recommend policy changes to enhance operational effectiveness and serve on military or civic committees as needed.
Qualifications
