Job Title: Radiology Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiology Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising staff and overseeing the daily operations of a Radiology service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies for quality imaging, quality control, and quality assurance.
  • Perform clinical procedures and oversee the clinical instruction for students and technologists.
  • Participate in the development of Radiology policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Radiology Manager with long-range planning and the operational budget for the Radiology service area.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • CT certification required.
  • Five years of progressive experience in a specific modality (CT).
  • Preferably has supervisory experience.
  • Must have participated in inspection and accreditation specific to modality.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and providing the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and interact easily with physicians, other managers, and staff throughout the department and hospital.
