About the Role

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly skilled Catering and Convention Services Manager to join our team at Hotel Chaco in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for responding to catering leads, providing site tours, and contracting clients. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a proven track record in sales and marketing leadership, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to new inquiries within 24 hours and provide site tours with historical knowledge of the location and significance of the building.
  • Provide pricing quotes and proposals for prospective clients and execute contracts for new pieces of catering business.
  • Work closely with guests to tailor each event to their specific needs and design menus with the appropriate food and wine pairing.
  • Attend weekly meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of events.
  • Oversee the coordination of the Delphi Function Diary and ensure food service quality and function standards are met.
  • Provide professional open communication with all team members and clients, and possess superior customer service and employee-relation skills.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of four-diamond / four-star customer service standards.
  • 2+ years of sales and marketing leadership in a similar-sized operation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera, Salesforce/Delphi, and Envision.
  • Knowledge of computer accounting programs and math skills capabilities required.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales skills, revenue management, catering, and banquets.
  • Ability to effectively listen, communicate, and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma required.
