Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $85,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Patient Care Coordinator to support our Ambulatory Surgery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient flow, communicating with patients and families, and ensuring that all necessary medical records and information are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient scheduling and registration
- Communicate with patients and families regarding pre-operative and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- CURRENT UNENCUMBERED OREGON RN LICENSE REQUIRED
- HEALTHCARE PROVIDER LEVEL BLS REQUIRED
- PCH SURGERY AMBULATORY: ACLS REQUIRED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF HIRE
Physical Demands:
- Rarely (1-10% of the time): CLIMB - STAIRS
- Occasionally (11-33% of the time): LIFT (Floor to Waist: 0-36") 40 - 60 Lbs, LIFT (Waist to Eye: up to 54") 20 - 40 Lbs
- Frequently (34-66% of the time): SQUAT Static (hold >30 sec), KNEEL (on knees), SIT, LIFT (Floor to Waist: 0-36") 20 - 40 Lbs, CARRY 2-handed, 20 - 40 pounds
