We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation and Corporate Transactional Legal Administrative Assistant to enhance our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in various defense litigation cases. This position is permanent and comes with a comprehensive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing assistance to attorneys specializing in litigation and corporate transactional matters.
  • Coordinating calls, meetings, mediations, and other important events.
  • E-filing legal documents with relevant court systems.
  • Scanning and organizing documents within our document management system.
  • Preparing and assembling files for new legal matters.
  • Processing invoices for payment.
  • Managing phone communications.
  • Overseeing attorneys' schedules and calendars.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks as directed by attorneys or paralegals.
Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a litigation and corporate transactional legal administrative assistant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with a commitment to staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Capability to quickly learn proprietary software systems and databases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the drive to meet deadlines while adding value to the team.
