Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Legal Assistant to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive litigation support to our attorneys, ensuring efficient case preparation and timely communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including researching and organizing documents.
  • File pleadings and other court documents with state and federal courts, adhering to relevant rules and regulations.
  • Schedule and manage depositions, mediations, and other litigation events, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Maintain and manage attorney calendars, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to maximize productivity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal research databases, with excellent technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
Benefits:
  • Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Hybrid work model: Opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week after initial training period.
