About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious law firm in Richmond, VA, as a skilled Real Estate Legal Assistant.


Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.


Manage workflow for attorneys and coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless collaboration.


Handle closing documents and organize virtual closing rooms, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.


Maintain files and documents within the Firm's Document Management System (NetDocs), ensuring up-to-date and organized records.


Manage client communications and handle general office duties, providing exceptional customer service.


Enter lawyers' time and expenses in IntApp software, accurately tracking and reporting financial data.


Schedule meetings, calls, and manage work calendars, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of legal administrative experience, preferably in real estate law.
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF.
  • Proficient in document comparison software and document management systems.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • High School Diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Experience in legal real estate transactions or finance law.
