About the Role

Cricket Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development of our talent pathway programs. As the Head of Talent and Development, you will be responsible for identifying and developing the next generation of State and Australian Players, Coaches, and Match Officials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and build transformational relationships with talent pathway program leads to develop and implement robust talent identification and development programs.
  • Design and implement transparent talent pathway systems to attract and retain players, coaches, and match officials across Tasmania.
  • Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to establish partnerships with clubs, schools, and universities to attract and support emerging players, coaches, and match officials.
  • Advance the development of Cricket Tasmania's talent development systems, ensuring researched best practice and continual improvement are at the forefront of player, coach, and match official acquisition.
About You

You will have experience in leading talent pathway programs and an understanding of best practice talent identification and development tools or platforms. You will have proven experience in progressing talent through to the highest level, mentoring and developing coaches, and working with a collaborative approach to lead and mentor your team to get the best performance from all.
