Job Summary

ECS Limited is seeking a skilled Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Charlotte team. As a Field Technician, you will conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials on construction project sites. No prior experience is required, as you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn and develop your skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct field activities, including observation, testing, and sampling of materials, such as soils, aggregates, and concrete.
  • Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data, including calculations and data reduction based on sampling, test results, and inspection.
  • Communicate effectively with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers, and maintain daily communication with the team.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • No prior experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Strong communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.
