YOUR FUTURE COLLEAGUES
As a member of CAPPS, Inc.'s Administrative Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational and logistical framework that underpins our organization. This position is integral to our Financial Administration Division.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in reviewing, analyzing, auditing, reconciling, and processing financial transactions.
- Familiarity with automated and integrated Financial Accounting Systems.
- Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to procurement and vendor payments.
- Executing complex accounting tasks associated with encumbering, processing payments, and managing Expenditure Transfer Vouchers for the Financial Operations Section.
- Analyzing and processing payment transactions alongside their related procurement and financial documentation.
- Reviewing and auditing pre-encumbrance requisitions for accuracy in account codes and vendor details. Evaluating and auditing financial reports, including monitoring encumbrance liquidation.
- Interpreting regulations and policies regarding procurement and vendor payments. Providing constructive feedback on agency policies to ensure compliance with internal controls and state statutes.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or public administration from an accredited institution, plus one year of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.
*A graduate degree in the aforementioned fields may substitute for one year of the required experience.
OR
Five years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.
OR
Certification as a public accountant (CPA).
Transcripts or documentation may be required to verify qualifications.
