Job Summary

As a Complaint Resolution Specialist with CAPPS, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring that insurance complaints are handled efficiently and effectively. This position involves analyzing and resolving complex insurance complaints, performing workflow duties such as indexing, composing, processing, classifying, and routing documents, and providing coverage for other TDI helplines.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve insurance complaints
Perform workflow duties such as indexing, composing, processing, classifying, and routing documents
Provide coverage for other TDI helplines
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

This position requires:

Sixty (60) college hours
Twelve (12) months experience in insurance or a field relative to assignment
Education and experience relevant to position requirements may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis

This position may be eligible for hybrid telecommuting. Employees must have a secure, dedicated workspace with Internet service, ability to maintain a reliable consistent work schedule, and be available for weekly meetings and group collaboration via Microsoft Teams and other applications during regular business hours.

The interview will include a writing test.

This position requires demonstrated knowledge of:

Insurance
Rules and statutes pertaining to insurance
Computers, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel software applications

This position requires demonstrated skill in:

Communicating and working effectively with all levels of employees and the public
Problem solving, decision making, and meeting deadlines
Composing and providing technical correspondence to consumers, insurance company representatives, agents, and others
Handling escalated customer calls
Reviewing complex insurance documents

This position requires the demonstrated ability to:

Work independently and as a team player
Communicate effectively
Be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks; and
Meet daily deadlines.
