Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative at Public Storage, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This includes assessing their storage needs, making suggestions, and ensuring that their storage units are ready for rent. You will also be responsible for auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and helping to keep our customers current with payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including assessing their storage needs and making suggestions.
  • Ensure that storage units are ready for rent, including performing daily inspections and maintaining inventory.
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as needed.
  • Help to keep customers current with payments, including making reminder and collection calls when required.

Requirements:
  • Ability to transport and lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
  • Ability to perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal.

Qualifications:
  • Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or conduct other work-related business.
