Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including counters and shelves, and performing duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides customers with courteous and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages with customers, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including counters and shelves.
• Performs duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and ensuring information is entered correctly.
• Assists with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and files claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
Requirements:
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
