Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Acquisition Manager to join our team at SimIS, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the field of IT acquisition. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the NATO Contracting, Budget, and Finance (BUDFIN) teams to identify and implement the best solutions for the iHUB.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Agile practices and be able to apply them in a complex environment. You will work directly with Contracting Officers and Program/Project Managers to support your assigned portfolio, ensuring that all contracts are negotiated and purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in driving business value and minimizing costs through the negotiation and purchase of hardware, software, and related implementation and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the NATO BUDFIN teams to identify and implement the best solutions for the iHUB.
  • Negotiate and purchase contracts for hardware, software, and related implementation and services.
  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies to drive business value and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure agile methodologies apply to all product development and enablers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees with at least 24 semester hours of business or management related courses.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in Contracts/Acquisition related field.
  • Active clearance (SECRET) with NATO certificate.
  • Acquisition Professional Certification.
Salary Range:$90,000 - $120,000 per year.
