Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Equipment Operator to strengthen our workforce. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with various machinery and a solid understanding of site work and BMP (Best Management Practices) plans. If you are enthusiastic about your role and eager to tackle challenges in a supportive and enjoyable setting, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an array of heavy machinery, including vibrating sheep's foot, compactor, excavator, skid steer, and dozer.
- Accurately read and interpret site work and BMP plans to effectively execute tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in all tasks.
- Experience operating machinery in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in site work and demolition, with proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
- Strong ability to read and interpret site work and BMP plans.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Valid equipment operator certification and driver's license.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
