Position Overview:

The State of Louisiana is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is crucial for enhancing the recruitment efforts within the region. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Applications will be reviewed continuously until the position is filled with a suitable candidate.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with experience in public relations or a related field. Preferred qualifications include:
  • Familiarity with and experience in an educational setting.
  • Active participation in university activities, particularly at the undergraduate level.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with high school and college-aged students.
  • Residence in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engagement in official events, particularly those organized by the office.
  • Visiting high school counselors, delivering presentations, and attending career fairs.
  • Handling phone inquiries, fulfilling requests, and assisting with office tasks.
  • Proactively reaching out to prospective students through various communication methods.
  • Maintaining accountability through regular reporting on recruitment activities.
  • Representing the State in a professional manner at all times.
  • Occasional travel for recruitment purposes may be required.
