Job Title: Mitigation Technician

At Kustom US Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mitigation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our restoration services team, you will be responsible for evaluating the integrity of affected residential structures and contents for direct or indirect water, fire, and mold damage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform emergency board up, water extraction, water damage mitigation, and mold remediation.
  • Assist in demolition and prepare areas/rooms for work activities and equipment.
  • Execute fire damage mitigation services efficiently and safely.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris.
  • Interface compassionately with clients and relay information to the Lead/Project Manager/Superintendent.
  • Assist with functions outside of mitigation, such as picking up and delivering materials, performing Matterport scans, etc., depending on job volume.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in restoration required.
  • Carpet cleaning experience a plus.
  • Ability to perform in a physically demanding position where you will lift equipment weighing 100+lbs.
  • Must be able to work on ladders and tall areas, in confined and tight areas, as well as perform in extreme heat, humidity, and cold weather.
  • IICRC Water Certification preferred, additional certifications such as Fire, Mold, etc. a plus.
