OVERNIGHT HOTEL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (PART TIME) | PALIHOUSE SANTA MONICA

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated Overnight Hotel Operations Specialist to manage nighttime activities at our establishment, ensuring seamless guest experiences during late hours and collaborating effectively with various departments in a 24/7 hospitality environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage positively with guests, team members, and service providers throughout the overnight shift.
  • Address guest requirements during the night, including check-in/check-out procedures, billing inquiries, and information dissemination.
  • Serve as an informed resource regarding the hotel, its amenities, and the surrounding area.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and colleagues through friendly interactions.
  • Build enduring relationships with guests in accordance with our service principles.
  • Facilitate smooth guest arrivals and departures, manage feedback, and process payments.
  • Respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously via phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Input guest information and transactions into hotel management systems.
  • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipate guest needs and strive to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold policies with professionalism.
  • Report any safety or security concerns immediately and adhere to emergency protocols.
  • Assist other departments as necessary to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
  • Present a professional appearance and complete daily front desk responsibilities.
  • Ensure accuracy in account balancing and report generation.
  • Address guest complaints and issues with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Investigate and resolve safety concerns to prevent future occurrences.
  • Communicate guest issues to management for appropriate resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Positive demeanor with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, work autonomously, and adhere to instructions.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Fluency in English with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and collaborate within a team.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and uphold hotel standards.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
