Location: Seattle, WA

Work Arrangement:

This position requires a hybrid work model, where team members will spend part of their time in our Seattle office while having the flexibility to work remotely from home within the Greater Seattle area. On-site requirements may vary depending on the specific role and team dynamics.


Compensation Range: $128,500 - $192,750

Your Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving dedicated mentorship in research, grant writing, and more.
  • Engaging in collaborative work on an AI2 project.
  • Developing and executing your independent research projects.

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct impactful research, lead projects, and publish scientific papers in high-profile computing conferences and journals.
  • Collaborate with and learn from a diverse team of scientists and engineers.
  • Mentor early-career researchers and interns.
  • Contribute to open-source software to enhance access to our research.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with academic, industrial, governmental, and standards organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on one or more of our active research areas.
  • A strong publication record in AI-related domains, with contributions to research communities being a plus.
  • Proficient software engineering skills, including experience with deep learning frameworks.

Work Environment:

The physical demands of this position include the ability to remain stationary for extended periods, communicate effectively, and observe details closely. Team members must be able to work under deadlines.
