This position emphasizes the administration and enhancement of macOS and Windows operating systems, mobile devices, software, and updates. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience with Microsoft Intune, exceptional technical capabilities, and a proactive mindset towards troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Microsoft Intune Administration:
o Manage and oversee the Microsoft Intune platform to fulfill organizational requirements.
o Formulate, execute, and sustain Intune policies and configurations to guarantee security and compliance.
o Diagnose and resolve Intune-related challenges while providing expert-level assistance.
• Policy and Configuration Management:
o Revise and enhance Intune policies and configurations in accordance with security directives and workplace engineering standards.
o Collaborate with the security division to ensure all configurations comply with the latest security protocols.
o Maintain thorough documentation of policies and configurations.
• Device Oversight:
o Supervise the management of macOS and Windows operating systems, alongside mobile devices.
o Ensure devices are set up according to organizational standards and policies.
o Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and patch management for all devices.
• Software Management:
o Oversee software deployments, updates, and patching via Intune.
o Ensure timely application of updates and patches to uphold system security and performance.
o Coordinate with other IT teams to plan and execute software updates with minimal disruption.
• Project Leadership:
o Lead and engage in projects aimed at enhancing the Workplace Engineering environment.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that align with business goals.
o Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout project planning and execution.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain comprehensive documentation of Intune configurations, policies, and procedures.
o Generate reports on device compliance, software updates, and security metrics.
o Create and update user manuals and training materials to assist end-users.
• User Assistance:
o Provide third-level support for escalated issues related to Intune and device management.
o Offer training and support to IT personnel and end-users on Intune functionalities and best practices.
o Develop self-service resources to empower users to resolve common issues independently.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Intune, including policy management and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Proven experience in device management, software deployment, and update management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
