We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Call Center Representative to join our team at a Healthcare Clinic in Hauppauge, NY. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, healthcare providers, and other callers.
Key Responsibilities- Answer inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing accurate information on services, appointments, and general healthcare inquiries.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments while adhering to company protocols.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries, insurance verification, and payment processing.
- Handle patient complaints or concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Document all interactions in the company's CRM system accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare services, medical terms, and insurance policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on healthcare policies, procedures, and systems.
- 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Knowledge of healthcare services, medical terminology, and insurance policies.
