Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursing Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care services at the DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan. This is a full-time day shift position with an estimated salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving process improvements.

The DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan is a world-renowned leader in pediatric medicine, providing advanced diagnostic services, including Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and MRI. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care to thousands of children every year.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence, and customer service outcomes within designated units/services. You will collaborate with senior leadership and subordinate staff to achieve departmental, hospital, and DMC objectives.

You will also oversee the development and/or revision of departmental procedures/protocols; secure approvals as necessary. Additionally, you will develop, monitor, and revise processes, and may provide input into the development and revision of departmental organizational design and/or monitor the quality and quantity of overall workflow.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred. A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan is also required. Three years of progressive nursing experience is necessary.
