About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Manager to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. This role will be responsible for managing multiple Nursing units, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met, and collaborating with senior leadership and subordinate staff to improve performance and outcomes.
As a Nurse Care Manager, you will plan, implement, and evaluate processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence, and customer service outcomes within designated units/services.
You will also model customer service excellence, collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to achieve departmental, hospital, and DMC objectives, and identify the need for departmental policy development and/or revision.
This is a medium-scope position with less than 50 FTE direct/indirect-reports on multiple Nursing units or responsibility for a single major Nursing operational support function.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- Three years of progressive Nursing experience.
