We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric OR Manager to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center.

About the Role

The Pediatric OR Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of the Pediatric Operating Room, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. This includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating with other departments, and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in the Pediatric Operating Room
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track patient data and staff performance
Requirements

To be successful as a Pediatric OR Manager, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in an operating room setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience.
