Position Overview:
This role offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where you can demonstrate your positive demeanor, multitasking abilities, and prioritization skills. While collaboration is key, you will also have the opportunity to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, fostering a workplace that values dignity and respect, in accordance with equal employment opportunity standards.
- Manage incoming correspondence in your electronic inbox.
- Assist in the issuance of binders, extensions, certificates, auto identification cards, and other proofs of coverage.
- Process endorsement requests and follow up with carriers as necessary.
- Enter transactions into the billing system to generate invoices.
- Handle confirmed cancellations and audits, as well as reinstatements.
- Update Acord applications in the system as directed.
- Support policy rating and process changes on carrier websites.
- Review carrier communication logs and take appropriate action.
- Verify policies for accuracy in rating and documentation, ensuring they are issued as requested and align with applications and proposals.
- Prepare policy documentation for large clients.
- Actively seek referral opportunities to other departments.
- Maintain organized electronic and/or paper files.
- Monitor and fulfill personal continuing education requirements to ensure compliance with licensing standards, attending classes as needed.
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Agency guidelines, policies, and procedures. This list is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned based on organizational needs.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a Florida 4-40 or 2-20 License is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Applied "EPIC" Agency Management System is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms are necessary. The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position operates within a professional office setting, with an overall noise level ranging from low to moderate.
