Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Management: Process accounts payable, code vouchers/invoices, and make payments through electronic funds transfer and wires.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Prepare invoices for billing, including totaling numbers, adding dates, and verifying financial data.
  • General Ledger Management: Handle general ledger and journal entry activity, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Transaction Verification: Verify and enter transactions into our accounts payable module, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Vendor and Project Manager Communication: Respond to vendor and project manager inquiries regarding accounts payable and invoices.
  • Payroll Support: Share responsibility for payroll duties using our payroll service.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct accounting experience, including at least 2 years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
  • Banks reconciliation experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate discrepancies and solutions.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or another government contracting industry software is preferred.
