Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Manager to join our team at Joann. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and leading a team of customer service representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
    • Use advanced product knowledge to drive sales and meet customer needs.
    • Engage with customers on the sales floor, at the cutting counter, and in the store, building strong relationships and loyalty.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop a team of customer service representatives, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Collaborate with store management to identify opportunities to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Assist with opening and closing store procedures, ensuring that the store is prepared for business and that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner, adhering to company standards and policies.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that the store is stocked with the right products at the right time.
    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, using advanced cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years of supervisory experience in a customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds.
