Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue goals and increase market share.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing distributors, ensuring they meet revenue targets and adhere to company policies.
- Monitor distributor performance and activity across the region, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Recruit and onboard new distributors to expand our presence in underpenetrated markets.
- Provide technical product support and training to distributors and their representatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement key account strategies and sales initiatives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key surgeon opinion leaders and customers in the region.
- Assist in coordinating meetings and events with customers and distributors, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Work closely with the legal department to review and execute distributor contracts.
- Support marketing efforts, including product launches, competitive analysis, and market research.
- Provide regular sales updates and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key issues, opportunities, and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 6+ years of experience in the spine industry, with a strong understanding of spinal anatomy and pathology.
- 3+ years of sales experience in spine/orthopedics, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Fluency in English and conversational Spanish.
- Ability to travel extensively, with a willingness to take on a high level of responsibility and accountability.
- Strong business management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Master's degree in business or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the spine industry.
- 5+ years of sales management experience, with a successful track record of growing a region with independent distributors.
- Existing knowledge of the global spine market.
