You will be an experienced Agile Coach eager to guide and mentor several Scrum teams comprising 3-8 members. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the Scrum framework and other team agreements. In this position, you will collaborate closely with various teams within our Cloud Operations division, particularly the Site Reliability Engineering teams. Your influence will be crucial in enhancing the teams' Agile practices and ensuring that solutions are delivered with efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore, you will inspire the team and foster a collaborative environment to discuss improvements that guarantee quality.

My responsibilities include...

  • Guiding the team to concentrate on daily and sprint objectives aligned with current product goals.
  • Leading the team's continuous improvement efforts by encouraging ownership of action items identified during retrospectives.
  • Assessing and coaching teams to elevate their maturity levels at a sustainable and comfortable pace.
  • Supporting the team in backlog management while facilitating a healthy team dynamic regarding priorities and scope.
  • Promoting quality practices to help teams consistently enhance the quality of their deliverables and meet the Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Facilitating and leading Scrum events such as planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensuring team members are equipped with techniques to embody Agile/Lean principles and mentoring them on their Agile mindset journey.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest Agile methodologies and applying them regularly.
  • Resolving conflicts, fostering consensus-building, and guiding collective decision-making to drive teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Facilitating the design of effective experiments that align with organizational objectives.

My qualifications include...

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience coaching multiple Scrum teams.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with various Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Proven ability to balance objective data with other considerations in decision-making.
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence or similar project management tools.
  • Exposure to release management and CI tools like Jenkins, AppVeyor, etc.
  • Possession of a CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP certification is a plus.
