Position Overview:

The Agile Project Facilitator plays a crucial role in the establishment, enhancement, and ongoing refinement of Agile methodologies, particularly focusing on Scrum, within the organization.

This position is responsible for orchestrating sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, while also tracking essential metrics that enable the team to visualize and comprehend their progress throughout a sprint.

The Agile Project Facilitator addresses and resolves identified obstacles, fostering an environment dedicated to the continuous deployment and enhancement of the development process, with the collective aim of delivering exceptional software promptly to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a team member, facilitating the adoption, implementation, and sustainability of Agile processes, principles, and practices.
  • Lead the scaling of Agile methodologies from team level to enterprise level.
  • Serve as a change agent, collaborating with a team of Coaches to guide and support teams and individuals in their Agile journey.
  • Make independent decisions and drive any aspect of Agile implementation at both team and management levels.
  • Provide hands-on guidance, support, and coaching to teams in close cooperation.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of the teams' Scrum maturity to inform future support strategies.
  • Advise on dependency management techniques between internal teams and external partners, including release managers.
  • Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, building trust to ensure leadership support across both Business and IT.
  • Become a strategic partner in organizational planning and structuring to enhance ROI, increase adoption, and improve transformation success.
  • Encourage speed, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT.
  • Experience in UX Design.
  • 3+ years in roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach.
  • Experience with mixed methodology programs, particularly Scrum interfacing with Waterfall.
  • Proficient in creating training materials and disseminating knowledge at various levels.
  • Experience as an Agile Coach/Scrum Master across multiple teams, including remote teams in different time zones.
  • Familiarity with Scrum practices and common Agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships with diverse groups across multiple environments.
  • Aptitude for leveraging technology for teaching and research purposes.
  • Servant Leadership qualities, able to earn respect at all organizational levels.
  • Thought Leadership, capable of challenging the status quo and fostering growth.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to lead and demonstrate value-add principles collaboratively.
  • Influence employees at all levels.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of the interview process is required.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.

Preferred:

  • CSM/CSPO Certification or PMI-ACP.
