With a track record of providing care to over 210,000 patients, including more than 14,000 acute cases, we are at the forefront of transforming healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details

We are currently seeking to expand our cadre of consultant physicians, specifically those holding FRACP or FACEM fellowships. We encourage applications from sub-specialty consultants who are eager to contribute to this innovative healthcare model.

The role of the Consultant encompasses overseeing patient care and utilizing medical expertise in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of patients within our Virtual Hospital framework.

The position offers a fixed-term contract with comprehensive benefits, including superannuation and leave entitlements. Our model does not involve Medicare, allowing you to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and administrative staff, to deliver exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

Our consultants operate in a multi-disciplinary team setting, working 8-hour shifts across a 7-day roster. Flexibility is available to accommodate other professional commitments. Participation in an on-call roster is expected, depending on the full-time equivalent (FTE) status. We offer both casual part-time and full-time positions.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for fully registered Specialists with AHPRA. Ideal candidates will be Senior Specialist Consultants with a minimum of 5 years' experience post-fellowship in their specialty. Those with FACEM or FRACP qualifications are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience in geriatric medicine, hematology, and general medicine, along with proficiency in technology and telemedicine services, will be prioritized.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical settings, ensuring compliance with clinical risk frameworks. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to exemplary patient care are essential.

Benefits of Joining Us

  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
  • No Medicare billing obligations
  • Comprehensive employment benefits
  • Supportive team culture
  • Remote work opportunities
  • Participation in a flexible 7-day rolling roster

If you possess the skills and experience we seek, we look forward to connecting with you.
