Medical Claims Specialist

**Key Responsibilities**
The Medical Claims Specialist assists the professional staff in submitting primary and secondary claims to medical insurance companies, and processing all payments and adjustments. This role is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical protocols.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Prepare all bills for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with third-party billing requirements for manual or electronic submission.
- Accurately report information to members of the Business Office team and other members of Washington Health System.
- Complete and demonstrate competency in all technical skills and procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Biller Skills & Responsibilities.

Work Location: In Person
Department: Finance Business Office
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30a - 4pm
Hours per week: 40
