Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care Float Pool team at Nuvance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and physician assistants in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering medical history, vital signs, and other necessary information.
  • Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, wound care, and suture removal.
  • Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
  • Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care, test results, and physician instructions.
Requirements
  • RN license in the state of Connecticut.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance contracts and requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
