Job Details

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, consisting of five eight-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will be available to work day shifts in California, Hawaii, Oregon, or Washington.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for home health patients and departments.
  • Handle incoming calls from plan members and healthcare providers for assigned health plans.
  • Document all calls and receive referrals and pre-certification requests from providers as applicable.
  • Review referral/pre-certifications for proper benefits and eligibility and enter data into the computer system.
  • Research and document rejected or erroneous claims and forward them for correction as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Associate?s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
  • Two years? relevant experience preferred.
