Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer support, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and delight for all guests.
  • Greet employees and visitors with a smile, maintaining eye contact and providing a warm welcome.
  • Meet, greet, and escort all VIP guests, ensuring their needs are met and they feel valued.
  • Ensure daily optimal workspace occupancy and assist in making day-of space reservations using an online tool.
  • Assist with guest services and support, including directing guests to the appropriate resource, wayfinding, checking guest coats and luggage, etc.
  • Handle daily signage requirements for guest wayfinding and maintain building visitor lists by managing access badge processes for employees and visitors.
  • Follow all security procedures and ensure visitors have visitor badges and name tags.
  • Carry out instructions for security, fire, health, and safety guidelines, working closely with facilities, local technology, and other workplace departments to ensure a high-quality experience for all guests.
  • Effectively and efficiently work with all members of the Workplace team, providing supplemental support as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain lobby areas daily, aligning all furniture to ensure a welcoming look and restocking supplies throughout the reception areas.
  • Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest.
  • Provide general travel support, arranging for transportation and providing directions as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries and anticipate customer needs, maintaining a strong awareness of business activity and communicating updates with team members.
  • Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs when business requires, providing general administrative support and other duties as assigned.
Key Competencies:
  • A genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering a memorable experience in all aspects of the Guest Experience Ambassador role.
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and juggling many jobs simultaneously, while constantly interacting with visitors in a public environment.
  • Excellent listening and oral communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
  • Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details.
  • Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • A consistently professional approach, with a mindset to take ownership and responsibility within and outside one's job domain.
