Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at Technical Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide systems and architectures that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of new and revised external stakeholder mission/user needs, guiding policies and directives, and other stakeholder guidance to identify latent and emerging needs in advance of change.
  • Architecture Development: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, including the identification of capability gaps and technology gaps, and the development of business cases to address these gaps.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and contribute to working sessions with government and stakeholders to determine whether the needs and gaps assessments are complete and accurate, and whether planned activities meet architectural intent.
  • Document Control: Document user capability needs, available and planned capabilities, and capability gaps and technology gaps, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all architecture-related activities.
  • Business Case Development: Develop and maintain business cases to support the implementation of architectural intent, including independent performance, cost, schedule, and risks assessments.
  • Portfolio Management: Participate in the preparation of the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB) and technical planning guidance (TPG) processes by assessing the overall strategic direction, architecture, and investment strategies holistically.
  • Analysis of Alternatives: Identify, document, and recommend potential architectural and business-related portfolio options through Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), including risk analysis, cost analysis, capability and technology gap assessments, and vendor assessments.
Requirements:
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance, with CI Poly (or willing to take a CI Polygraph)
  • Experience: NRO or IC experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, and MS with 10+ years or BS with 12+ years of demonstrated performance related to the tasks above.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of NRO mission and communications systems, IT and/or IA, with experience consulting and developing business cases for customer's use in determining way forward in addressing capability planning and investment.
  • Certifications: Certifications related to functional responsibilities, such as but not limited to Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Architecture Framework: Knowledge and understanding of the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF), and/or Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM) artifacts.
