Responsibilities

Are you seeking a role where you can lead and significantly impact the government sector? Do you aspire to tackle complex technical challenges while enhancing products and processes as both a team leader and an individual contributor? Our team is in search of an experienced Intelligence Community Subject Matter Expert (SME) with robust collaboration and program management capabilities to offer guidance and support to government leaders regarding ground enterprise solutions within the IC and DoD.

This program delivers SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) and SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an IC client, focusing on the acquisition and operation of a sophisticated mission system along with its supporting IT infrastructure. The contract support is integral to the core team, concentrating on all facets of systems engineering and integration throughout the systems lifecycle, including requirement capture, architecture modeling, collaboration with developers for capability delivery, testing to ensure compliance with requirements, transition to operations, and ongoing operational support. Additionally, the program fosters innovation and technology development, providing acquisition and project management assistance to government program managers and IT information assurance security support.

The selected candidate will act as an individual contributor across various systems engineering and acquisition tasks involving IC program stakeholders and will coordinate with the team's Technical Lead to offer backend management support for a team of up to 20 FTE multi-disciplinary SETAs engaged in technical roles on the contract. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the client in the development, refinement, and execution of the program's engineering processes, ensuring technical integrity while maintaining programmatic efficiency.
  • Providing leadership and direction for systems engineering and integration activities across customer program functional areas and collaborating with the Technical Lead, Program Manager, SMEs, and other SETA and SE&I professionals to analyze, resource, and resolve issues, ensuring feasible outcomes that align with customer needs.
  • Ensuring effective support for the customer's agile processes and technical deliverables.
  • Delivering comprehensive managerial services to the contract program management team and customer delivery team, including staffing, retention, performance evaluation, mentoring, and regular communication of corporate and contract updates to both customers and employees.
Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS degree with 12+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in a management-level SETA role, or MS with 10-13 years, or PhD with 10+ years.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Experience with Mission Partner and customer overhead and/or ground systems.
  • Proven experience in full-lifecycle systems engineering, system integration, and/or project management for complex systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with mission partners and stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
