Position Overview

Role Summary: The Sales Manager is accountable for driving sales performance, enhancing customer retention, and achieving operational goals within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to meet and exceed sales targets, conversion rates, and customer retention metrics.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by creating a targeted outreach list each week.
  • Ensure all estimates align with company standards through thorough review processes.
  • Oversee part orders to confirm they match the provided estimates.
  • Make strategic discount decisions to maintain profitability.
  • Engage with insurance adjusters to negotiate repair costs and timelines effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Director regarding sales performance and initiatives.
  • Provide Estimators with updated customer vehicle delivery timelines.
  • Aim for a top-tier service rating across various platforms.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development for the sales team.
  • Offer guidance on sales techniques in accordance with company protocols.
  • Be available for Estimators on Saturdays during designated hours.
  • Consistently achieve established performance benchmarks.
  • Manage user access to financial systems and oversee cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure on-site coverage at all times, including during breaks.

Daily Activities:

  • Engage with local businesses and fleet accounts.
  • Monitor customer delivery timelines and follow up as necessary.
  • Review part orders and manage payment approvals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
  • Oversee attendance and performance metrics for Estimators.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to discuss vehicle statuses multiple times daily.
  • Perform final quality checks on fleet vehicles.

Work Schedule:

The workday begins prior to store opening and concludes upon completion of all responsibilities, typically spanning around 10 hours. Sales Managers are required to be available for communication during specific hours on Saturdays. During slower periods, Estimators will focus on completing their assigned tasks. While on-call, responsiveness to communications is expected within a set timeframe, and adherence to workplace conduct is mandatory.
