Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Automotive Technician to join our team at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in our preventive maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform state, smog, safety, and emissions inspections for our guests
  • Conduct automotive preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements
  • Inspect and replace vehicle lights and wipers
  • Master our products, services, and company knowledge to provide expert advice to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized service center, ensuring a safe and secure working environment
  • Evaluate customer needs and work efficiently to meet their expectations

Requirements:

  • Valid certification to perform automotive state, safety, emissions, and/or smog inspections
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Full mobility and ability to work with hands above head
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
