Position Overview:

The Store Operations Manager will oversee staff management, inventory control, sales objectives, and daily operational activities for their designated location. This role requires inspiring and guiding team members to excel while adhering to regulatory standards and established operational protocols. Effective communication across all organizational levels is essential to achieve store objectives and uphold the principles of Speed, Efficiency, and Empathy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales performance and revenue growth
  • Maintain exceptional standards of customer service and care
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance service quality and attract new clientele
  • Manage daily customer service functions, including sales transactions and order processing
  • Optimize profitability and sales across all store operations by managing budgets and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant cannabis regulations and laws
  • Generate reports and analyze retail metrics, including revenue and expenses
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure operational efficiency and store presentation
  • Review and update standard operating procedures, ensuring staff are informed of any changes
  • Assess employee performance and identify training needs
  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve their best
  • Support new and existing staff through coaching and development
  • Oversee inventory management and stock levels
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs
  • Analyze consumer trends to inform product placement
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Research new products and adjust inventory accordingly
  • Schedule and manage employee shifts to ensure adequate coverage
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Previous management experience in retail or customer service is advantageous
  • Experience with cash handling is required
  • Ability to train and develop a team of over 40 employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to interact with all levels of staff
  • Proficient in English for effective communication with customers and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and inform operational decisions
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and colleagues
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess the mental and physical capabilities to fulfill job responsibilities
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to:
  • Move throughout the facility, including confined spaces, and communicate sensitive information
  • Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Occasionally remain seated for extended periods
Work Schedule:

This position requires a commitment of 45+ hours per week, with flexibility based on store needs. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
