Position Overview:

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will operate at the intersection of Oura's Operations, Research & Development, supply chain, and manufacturing sectors. You will adeptly navigate various facets of quality engineering, from scrutinizing detailed measurement specifications to contributing to long-term strategies aimed at enhancing the Oura supply chain through meticulously planned quality processes and part control characteristics.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish yourself as a specialist in supplier quality engineering within cross-functional Oura teams.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in mechanical, electronic, and operational teams to spearhead Oura's supply quality engineering initiatives.
  • Design and implement robust quality processes and metrics across Oura's supply chain and final assembly operations.
  • Collect, integrate, and assess quality data to define and guide appropriate quality limits and specifications for parts and processes.
  • Achieve a balance between exceptional quality, process development, and scalability through critical process constraints.
  • Serve as a quality engineering authority within Oura's product development programs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, process development, or a related field.
  • Experience collaborating with final assembly facilities and mechanical enclosures or electronics supply chains.
  • Expertise in supplier quality engineering for high-volume handheld, wearable, or consumer products.
  • Familiarity with parts and processes related to cosmetic or high-visual quality products.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking mindset.
  • A willingness to travel as needed.
