Position Overview:

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to become an integral part of our Operations team. In this role, you will be positioned at the intersection of Oura's Operations, Research & Development, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of quality engineering, from scrutinizing detailed measurement specifications to contributing to long-term strategies aimed at enhancing our supply chain through meticulously planned quality processes and part control characteristics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish yourself as a specialist in supplier quality engineering across multi-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in mechanics, electronics, and operations to drive quality initiatives.
  • Develop and implement robust quality processes and metrics throughout the supply chain and final assembly operations.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to define appropriate quality limits and specifications.
  • Balance high-quality standards with process development and scalability through essential process controls.
  • Act as a quality engineering authority within Oura's product programs.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, process development, or a related field.
  • Experience working with final assembly operations and mechanical enclosures or electronics supply chains.
  • Expertise in supplier quality engineering for high-volume handheld, wearable, or consumer products.
  • Familiarity with parts and processes for high-visual quality products.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking approach.
  • A willingness to travel as needed.
