We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations team in San Diego, California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and suppliers, from concept phase to high-volume mass production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement measurement methods, control plans, and other supply quality engineering processes to ensure part and product quality.
- Analyze part-specific supplier quality data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanics, electronics, and operations, to drive Oura supply quality engineering efforts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers, to ensure seamless quality processes.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in supplier quality engineering, process development, or a related field.
- Experience working with final assembly factories and mechanical enclosures and/or electronics supply chain.
- Experience in supplier quality engineering in high-volume handheld/wearable and/or consumer products.
- Experience with parts and processes for cosmetic/high-visual-quality products.
- Self-driven and forward-looking attitude.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
