Job Title: Technology Trainer

Ampcus Incorporated is a leading provider of technology and business consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Technology Trainer.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technology courses virtually and in-person using the OATS curriculum and approach.
  • Create a comfortable and supportive learning environment for participants.
  • Provide personalized support to callers on the Senior Planet hotlines.
  • Make outbound calls to Senior Planet members to promote technology adoption.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times and represent Ampcus Incorporated in a positive light.
  • Engage in regular communication with OATS staff to discuss site issues, curriculum, and other relevant topics.
  • Coordinate with site staff to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.
  • Submit paperwork in a timely manner and collect surveys and evaluations from participants.
  • Enter data into the Salesforce database to track program progress.
  • Participate in trainer meetings and other training events to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Recruit participants for training programs as needed.
  • Participate in special projects as needed, such as outreach and curriculum development.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent speaking and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English, English and Mandarin, or English and Spanish.
  • Experience teaching teenagers, adults, and/or seniors, preferably.
  • Proficiency with Windows computers, iOS, popular social media sites, and other common technologies/devices.
  • Comfortable traveling to various senior/community centers as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a training team.
  • Superior time-management skills.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional work setting.
