Job Title: Coordinator of Student Success and Support

Eckerd College is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Coordinator of Student Success and Support to join our Student Life team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the academic and personal success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee the EdSights software to identify students at risk and develop intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Student Success Committee, faculty, and staff to provide individualized support to students experiencing challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outcomes to track progress and measure program effectiveness.
  • Support the Student Outreach and Support office and/or the CARE Team in outreach efforts to students in need.
  • Conduct assessments and provide referrals and short-term solution-focused support to students experiencing personal and/or academic stressors.
  • Stay informed about best practices in student success and retention and incorporate them into program development and implementation.
  • Provide Academic Affairs and Student Affairs with quantitative and qualitative data about identified students to inform intentional interdepartmental efforts to enhance retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, or school counseling) plus at least one year of related experience.
