Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Project Engineer is accountable for managing internal projects, which includes reviewing orders, assessing layouts, and specifying components. A strong background in Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products and applications, along with proficiency in CAD software, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate project coordination among Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze and interpret project specifications and financial forecasts.
  • Engage with clients and field representatives to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
  • Utilize both Internal and Vendor Selection Software for project management.
  • Revise CAD drawings for customer submissions.
  • Guarantee timely completion of all internal and external documentation.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project prioritization capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with AUTOCAD is essential.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred Associate Technical or BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of CAD experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management is preferred.
