Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering and a passion for process improvement. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical initiatives in manufacturing sites for products that generations of people around the world trust to make their lives and the world better every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical initiatives in manufacturing sites to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to others executing projects
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing during instances of new or complex problems
  • Regularly interact with Glad Extrusion Platform Team and Operations to improve quality and performance
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Zero Loss manufacturing culture
  • Experience with film converting, packaging, or injection molding operations
  • Experience leading or working within an ongoing management of change process
