Job Title: Biomedical Technician Intern

Join Agiliti Health, Inc. as a Biomedical Technician Intern and gain hands-on experience in the field of biomedical equipment maintenance and repair. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced team to learn and develop the skills needed to perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service on various medical devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service on medical devices
  • Complete all associated documentation and communication in a timely manner
  • Assist in technical training and maintain adequate and accurate inventory
  • Develop strong communication skills and work effectively with clinical staff
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is delivered to all customers
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year accredited biomedical program
  • Recommendation from student's instructor
  • Final year student with graduation date within 12 months
  • Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, preventive maintenance, and repair service on various equipment
  • Basic understanding of industry regulatory requirements and ISO standards
  • Familiar with the setup and application of test equipment
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing
