Compassionate Full-Time Hospice Aide (CNA) Opportunity

St. Joseph Hospice is in search of a Full-time Hospice Aide CNA to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional hospice care to patients and their families. We view it as a privilege to support individuals and families during this significant phase of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support the safe use of mobility aids, such as walkers or wheelchairs, under the guidance of nursing or therapy staff.
  • Ensure a safe environment for clients by adhering to infection control protocols and reporting any hazardous conditions to supervisors.
  • Communicate any changes in the patient's physical or mental health to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CNA certification and CPR certification are mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in a direct care role is necessary.
  • Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
