St. Joseph Hospice is actively seeking a dedicated Full-time Hospice Aide CNA to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional hospice care to patients and their families.
We take pride in supporting individuals and families during this significant phase of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support the safe use of mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs under the guidance of nursing staff.
- Ensure a safe environment for clients by adhering to infection control protocols and reporting any hazards to supervisors.
- Communicate any changes in the patient's condition or home environment to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team members.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CNA certification and CPR certification are mandatory.
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in a direct care role.
- Possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
